Steinway Family Dental Center  is committed to their social mission to give back to the community by educating patients on the importance of oral health, providing the best dental care and by extending their services for FREE on Friday, February 7th to those who need their care within the community", said Melissa Fernandez, SFDC, Public Relations Coordinator.

With SFDC Free Dental Day on Friday February 7th from 10am- 3pm, everyone can enjoy the benefits of a healthy smile for free!

SFDC Free Dental Day was created to provide aid to the growing number of those who can't afford dental services. People who are unable to visit the dentist miss out on preventative dental care that could greatly help both their oral health and overall health

Untreated dental problems don't simply disappear on their own; instead they continue to spread possibly causing:
•           issues such as tooth loss, periodontal disease and misaligning of teeth.
•           the need for lengthy, expensive dental work to correct these problems.
•           severe health issues stemming from periodontal disease, such as heart disease, diabetes and oral cancer

The American Dental Association (ADA), confirmed through research a disturbing dental divide in the United States, with almost half of all lower income Americans failing to have seen a dentist in the last year or more, and a little over a third admitting to living with an untreated cavity.

SFDC helps children and adults who can't regularly visit the dentist with  SFDC Free Dental Day patients can still improve the quality of their health!
